Intraday Trade Support Trainee (Part-Time) – Intraday Power Trading

CONTROL TOWER ON THE TRADING FLOOR

On an intraday trading shift, speed and accuracy matter – and the trader can only move as fast as the setup around them allows. As Trade Support, you act as the control tower on the trading floor: you help ensure the shift runs smoothly by preparing inputs, checking data quality, and keeping key operational workflows on track in real time.

You will monitor market-relevant information and the systems/tools the desk depends on, making sure nothing critical is missed when the pace is high. When something deviates – an unexpected system behavior, missing data, or a process that doesn’t look right – you react quickly, troubleshoot, and escalate with clarity.

Your work reduces noise and protects focus for the trader, so decisions and execution can happen fast and with confidence when the market moves. It’s a role for someone who likes structured responsibility, enjoys staying sharp for hours, and thrives in an environment where small errors can have real consequences.

Qualifications and Requirements

As a candidate, we expect that you:

Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s program in finance, mathematics, economics, or similar.
Have strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Have an understanding and interest in financial and energy markets. Previous experience is an advantage.
Have strong communication skills.
Are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Have an innovative mindset and can work in a team setting as well as individually.
Have a strong sense of integrity and the ability to accept responsibility.
